PC Tuning

Optimizationmaxxing

Live v0.2.1

100

tweaks · zero placebos

One hundred tweaks. Zero placebos.

100 sourced tweaks. 3.6 MB. One UAC prompt to apply the whole preset. Snapshot revert at any time, any tweak.

The receipts

One hundred tweaks. All cited.

01 · The Audit

Every tweak prints its source.

Microsoft Learn doc. Vendor whitepaper. NVIDIA dev note. The other tuners don't cite because they can't. We open the citation in your browser before you flip the switch.

02 · The Size

3.6 MB. Hone is 200.

Tauri-on-Rust ships smaller than your discord avatar. No Electron. No 300 MB Chromium binary. Opens in 200 ms.

Hone.gg 200 MB
Paragon Tweaks 81 MB
Optimizationmaxxing 3.6 MB

Installer size · lower is better · 56× smaller than Hone

03 · The Undo

One UAC. Full revert.

Whole preset applies behind a single elevation prompt. Every tweak snapshots its pre-state. Roll any change back at any time — undo isn't a paid tier.

04 · The Presets

10 presets. Or roll your own.

Esports · BR · Streamer · Frame Pacing · Tournament FPS · five more. Each one a curated bundle. Each tweak still toggleable. Build a custom preset in the same panel.

05 · The Measure

Live DPC. Live ping. Live frame time.

DPC latency sparkline. Bufferbloat probe. PCIe link-state readout. We show the before, the after, and the delta — not a "trust me" toggle.

06 · The Hardware

Knows your rig before you do.

Detects CPU vendor, RAM kit, OS build, laptop vs desktop. Hides every tweak that doesn't apply. Laptops never see PCIe ASPM off. AMD rigs never see Intel-only flags.

The audit

Every tweak ships with its source.

Hone has none. Paragon has none. We publish every citation, every category, every audit trail.

RAM Microsoft Learn

MMAgent prefetch + standby tuning

Suppresses prefetcher churn on 32 GB+ rigs where the cache outlives the launch.

Timer Microsoft Learn

HPET (High Precision Event Timer) off

BCD store: useplatformclock=No. Lets the TSC carry timer load — lower DPC latency.

100

tweaks · zero placebos

Tune what you measured. Revert what didn't help.

Three questions you were going to ask anyway

Is this just registry voodoo?

No. Every tweak cites a Microsoft Learn doc, NVIDIA dev note, or vendor whitepaper before you flip the switch. Twenty live on this page; the other 67 ship cited inside the build. Hone publishes none of theirs. Paragon publishes none of theirs.

Will it brick my PC?

No. Every action snapshots its pre-state to a local SQLite ledger before applying. One-click revert at any time, any tweak. Zero BIOS writes, zero kernel drivers — that line is a hard refusal in the engine.

What's the catch?

Free. 3.6 MB. The catch is that a handful of the more aggressive tweaks (CPU set pinning, certain registry deep cuts) live behind a one-time $8 VIP unlock. Everything else — including full undo — is unlocked from the install.
